Application to the local authority for tree works

We can act as your agent to complete an application to local authority for tree works either because tree surgery work may be required to improve the structural condition of an individual or group of trees or the trees are diseased or causing damage / a treat to property.

As your agent we provide:

• Identification of the tree/s with a site sketch plan and a detailed description of the proposed tree work.
• The reasons for the proposed tree work including evidence of disease or damage.
• If subsidence exists we work alongside a structural engineer and/or a chartered surveyor to provide the necessary arboricultural information.
• Specifications of the proposed tree surgery work to the required British Standard: 3998 Recommendations for Tree Work.
• We supply new tree replanting and establishment plans.
• We monitor online the application during the decision process and notify you on the decision date.
• Forward to you a copy of the decision notice.

We can appeal on your behalf to the planning inspectorate if you are not satisfied with the council’s decision.
