BS 5837 2012 – RECOMMENDATIONS:

This British Standard BS 5837 2012 provides the current guidance for us arboriculturalists and planning professionals for supplying accurate tree survey information in support of your planning application; in respect of arboricultural and proposed site layout assessment providing tree protection plans in the vicinity of built structures, driveways and proposed housing developments.

Urban Forestry Group supplies home owners, architects, builders, engineers, surveyors, land managers and landscape architects with the necessary BS 5837 documents to validate planning applications and enable your application to proceed smoothly through the planning process.

BS 5837 2012 Tree Survey and Root Protection Area:

Comprising of an accurate scale tree survey site plan, RPA’s, a tree condition assessment, with the tree retention categories and recommendations for tree surgery works.

BS 5837: 2012 Arboricultural Implications Assessment:

The assessment will take account of the effects of any required tree removal; including any potentially damaging activities within the tree/s RPA and provide recommendations.

BS 5837: 2012 Arboricultural Method Statement:

To demonstrate how the construction works within and around the tree/s RPA above and below ground can be undertaken with minimal risk of any adverse impact on the trees to be retained.

At the request of the mortgage Lender; an Arboricultural Survey assesses tree/s surrounding the property, identifying any disorders, including providing a full soil report to give you the ‘ground movement potential’ of the soil.

Tree Risk Assessment & Preventative Tree Management:

For tree owners and businesses who have a responsibility for the safe management of trees and who require a ‘tree risk assessment’, to reduce or remove any identified risk from falling branches or trees.

LANDSCAPE DESIGN & ECOLOGICAL SURVEYS

Our landscape design experience has a 100% success rate in achieving planning approval. We analyse the ‘proposed site layout plans’ for what the space is going to be used for; and produce a detailed landscape design scale drawing with a supporting landscape establishment plan to obtain planning approval at a competitive price.
